The day began with golden sunlight streaming through the windows of Wentbridge House Hotel, perfect for bridal preps – the light is simply stunning.
Jaibao’s morning was filled with joyful chatter, emotional glances, and the gentle hum of excitement.
Her wedding dress was breathtaking—a classic design with intricate lacework that shimmered in the sunlight and a huge three metre train.
Delicate pearl buttons lined the back while a soft tulle skirt flowed effortlessly around her.
It was a gown that blended timeless elegance with modern flair.

The First Look – A Private Reveal Filled With Emotion
Next came one of the most heartfelt moments of the day—the reveal.
Lewis waited nervously in the gardens of Wentbridge House, sunlight dancing on the leaves in the morning sun.
As Jaibao gently tapped his shoulder, he turned to see his bride for the first time. There were tears, laughter, and emotion between them.

With the first look done, we took a stroll through the perfectly manicured grounds of Wentbridge House for portraits. Having shot at Wentbridge House for in excess of 15 years I know the venue like the back of my hand and there are some gorgeous spots for stunning bridal portraiture.
Jaibao’s wedding dress moved with the breeze, her veil catching the light.
Meanwhile, Lewis looked dapper in a tailored three-piece tux, with an air of sophistication his boutonnière echoing the soft blush of the bridal bouquet.
These natural moments created a gallery of portraits that were relaxed, romantic, and completely timeless, which is my ethos – timeless and looking as fabulous in 20 years as they do now.

We then made our way to the spectacular Selby Abbey—a jewel of North Yorkshire wedding venues.
The Abbey’s towering stonework and stained-glass windows offered the perfect setting for a truly moving ceremony.
As Jaibao walked down the aisle with her dad, every head turned.
The grandeur of the Abbey combined with the intimacy of the moment was breathtaking.

Drinks on the Lawn – Sun-Kissed Celebrations Begin
Back at Wentbridge House, guests were welcomed with champagne and sunshine.
The lawn was alive with chatter and clinking glasses.
We moved among the guests, capturing those fleeting, candid moments—hugs, laughter, the clink of glasses in celebration.

The reception space was elegantly decorated with soft florals and twinkling lights.
After our bride had a quick dress change the guests took their seats for a delicious wedding breakfast.

From heartfelt fatherly advice to best man banter, we captured every expression.
