As a recommended Bridge Inn Wedding Photographer, I always enjoy my short journey up the A1 on the day of the wedding. The Bridge Inn is in the little village of Walshford with a quaint little lane that runs behind the hotel. It’s superb for later afternoon sunshine to give photographs that golden hour look.

It also seems to be a bit of a tradition with me, I’ll shoot a bride and grooms wedding and book another wedding following on from it. (Have a look here to see our wedding photography packages). After photographing Alisons big day her daughter and bridesmaid Chelsea booked me to shoot her wedding a few years later.

As is normal for my wedding coverage as a Bridge Inn wedding photographer, I started with bridal preps and it was my good friend Sam Frost provding the MUA services that morning (I’ve known and have recommended Sam for years). The ceremony was in the Byron Room, followed by drinks, canopies and photographs. Following the wedding breakfast and speeches Alison, Stewart and I managed to fit in a second bride and groom photo session before the night time festivities began.

If you are looking for a wedding venue with great possibilites for photography then The Bridge Inn has it all. There are great indoor spaces if the weather isn’t too good. If it is, how about your ceremony outside, followed by drinks in the courtyard? The Bridge Inn has an excellent secluded private courtyard for it’s wedding guests – it works great for photographs too!
